The Epson Perfection V300 Photo Flatbed Scanner scans photos, 35mm slides & film, documents, and even 3D objects at up to 4800 x 9600 dpi in 48-Bit RGB color. The scanner's built-in transparency unit offers convenient scanning of both slides and film strips in great detail. One-touch scan buttons make it simple to scan images to e-mail, copy photos and documents for archiving purposes, scan film for frame-ready enlargements, or scan books and magazine layouts. Great for enlargements and reproductions, capturing all of the detail of the original. Flat scanning area of 8.5 x 11.7 inches, and can be used in either the portrait or landscape orientation. The high-rise lid opens to a full 180 degrees for scanning large and bulky items. You can even scan three-dimensional items up to approximately one inch thick with the lid closed.
